Girls’ School of Gannadio

Besides the Middle School (Scholarcheio), there was also a Girls' School attended by four grades of girl pupils who were mainly taught house-keeping lessons. It was constructed and maintained at the expense of Xinos’ legacy. As for its architectural style, it is a simple building with two major halls with a fireplace each for heating; the school was equipped with sewing machines and looms for teaching purposes. The scullery and kitchen were in the yard; it prepared and distributed daily meals.
