HISTORY

Church of St. Apostolon, Molyvdoskepastos

It is the largest church in the village of Molyvdoskepastos and serves as the central church. It has a cruciform roof with a dome, with a pentagonal niche, a narthex and a covered propylaea on the south side. The frescoes are preserved in good condition and cover the interior of the church. According to the infrared inscription the temple was built in 1537.
